You can find a lot of essential oils at your local health food store. There are also a lot of places online where you can purchase these essential oils as well. When you are learning how to make aromatherapy oils, you should look for ones in dark brown or blue bottles because these colors protect the oils better than clear glass does. Regardless as to where you purchase your essential oils you should also purchase some small brown or blue bottles.

I really love essential oils and have been using them for a few years. They are very relaxing and make me feel better to walk into my house smelling good after a stressful day at work. I have been wanting to make my own, so i am glad I came across these tips. I am going to try some of these, they sound delightful!
I tried to make my own bath oils, and even though they smelled wonderful, it quickly turned into a disaster when I decided to add some to my bath water and I quickly found out that I was allergic to some of the ingredients, and I broke out into a terrible rash! It’s funny now, but it wasn’t at the time. So be careful making your own oils, and don’t do like I did and bathe in them lol.
I’ve always wanted to have a go at making my own aromatherapy oils but just never got around to it. After reading this article I feel motivated to get going on this project. I just love the smell of sandalwood and vanilla. Peppermint is nice too but I don’t think I’de like to have that smell in the house. It would remind me of medicine. Thanks for the article.
