Rest assured, though, that others can do a quality job, but only if you give them the opportunity. They may not do it in exactly the same way as you would have, and that's okay! At some point you need to let go of perfection and allow others to help.

Consider the following exercises while you build your time management skills:

1.    Close your door and turn off the phone.
If you have an important task at hand, it's important that you avoid unnecessary interruptions. Sitting alone can certainly help you to clear your head. Also, if you have Internet access, resist the urge to go online to time-wasting websites, like Twitter, MySpace, or Facebook.
