The question most people have about any diet is 'does it really work'? with so many different diets out there, it's easy to see how people can get confused. What works and what does work? Add to that the fact that what might work for one person may not work for others, and things really start to get complicated. The answer is that you can, but only under certain conditions.

Water Weight, or Fat Weight?

When people report fast weight loss from a low carb diet, they are experiencing a loss of water weight. This can be as much as several pounds in the first week, but it is not fat that you are shedding, in this case it is water. The high protein content of a low carb diet encourages water to leave tissues and be excreted. Anyone who wants to lose weight quickly needs to pay attention to the fast weight loss diet he or she plans to take.  For instance, and good fast weight loss plan must consist of a low fat diet.  A proper low fat diet primarily includes such things as fruits and vegetables. Before jumping into any diet, you  should make sure the diet is  balanced and complete.  This means that the main aim of the fast weight loss diet needs to be realistic and attainable weight loss and diet goals.  Don’t set yourself up for failure or worse yet, major health problems, by setting unrealistic goals and then starving yourself to try to attain them.

First of all,  let us make one thing clear.  It simply does not serve any purpose to make the fast weight loss diet too specific.  You will be on the right track if you just remember to  count the calories, and consume about 1300 calories each day.  Another important fact to bear in mind is that you should eat your food slowly.  Do not rush it.  It is always  best to eat the food in a slow manner.  One secret is to prepare what you will eat in advance.  Having the food ready and on hand will make it easier and quicker for you to eat healthily and stick to your fast weight loss diet.

When selecting food, you should remember to make sure that the menu you are choosing includes enough fruits, vegetables, whole grain cereals, beans, low fat or non-fat dairy products, low fat meats, fish and skinless poultry. It is also necessary to avoid foods that contain high fat content or are high in calories. Especially persons with a sweet tooth need to cut down on those sweets, and sugar rich dishes such as pastries, cakes, candy bars, pies, and candy.

We've said it before but it bears repeating.  Be sure to eat  a variety of fruits and vegetables as part of your fast weight loss  diet and  nutrition plan.  Fruits and veggies are incredibly important, and one sad but true fact is that most people in the world do NOT eat enough fruits and vegetables on a regular basis.   If you fall in that group, why not make a small beginning in the right direction by eating five total vegetable and fruit servings, each and every day.  Just this small change can make  a major difference in your health.

Easy Weight Loss: Small Changes Can Make a Big Difference!

What kind of small changes can make a difference in your attempts to lose weight?  Some ways to make small changes are in the area of your daily eating habits.   Ask yourself:  " do I   tend to eat fast food a lot"?  If your answer is yes, why not cut that out of your diet?  Perhaps, instead of easting fast food once or twice each week, you can reduce it to maybe once a month.  That is once small change that can make a BIG difference in your weight loss efforts. This way you are making a small but positive change, instead of an overly drastic one that you could never stick to. That's one easy way to lose weight.

Instead of banning Burger King altogether, for instance, you could also make small changes such as getting the Whopper Junior meal instead of the Double Whopper meal. Or, if you must have your Double Whopper, get it and leave the fries behind. Get a juice instead of a coke – or better yet, water. Or you could even substitute a sandwich for a salad.

Don't underestimate the power of these small changes. The impact will be an incredibly positive difference in your eating habits, and since it  will be gradual instead of a sudden and difficult change, you will be more likely to stick with it and it will become a permanent lifestyle and diet change. Making these changes gradually is essential for making weight loss easy.  

You can apply the same principle to exercise.  You should never start out by setting out to run a marathon, but rather go for a 15 minute walk, then a half-hour walk, then a power walk after 3 weeks of daily walks.  Gradually…, slowly but surely, your power walk will evolve into speed walking, then jogging, and eventually running. These gradual changes are the only way to truly make for easy weight loss, and they are also the only way to make the changes habitual instead of a week’s anomaly.  So if you are willing to make some small changes today,  you will reap some HUGE benefits by this time, next year. What Should A Fast Weight Loss Diet Look Like?

If you want to get on a fast weight loss diet but have no idea what such a diet should consist of, then read on.  Below we describe a  sample low fat diet plan that would work well for a  fast weight loss diet.  Here is what it should look like.

Breakfast: The Most Important Meal Of the day

For breakfast, you can consume a glass of orange juice, along with a glass of water.  You can also eat one bagel plain and some fruit and/or yogurt on the side. This is an good fast weight loss diet to use for breakfast cause it includes all of the necessary food groups.  Another great benefit is that it will also give you a good energy boost to start your day off with. Keep any fruits on standby  so you can eat that later in the morning when you are ready for a snack.  


Lunch & Dinner: When Hunger Starts To Strike

For lunch, you could have some tuna on rye bread, a salad and a green tea, with some strawberries and fruit for dessert. Dinner may consist of three ounces of chicken breast or other white meat, one cup of pasta or corn cooked, and one small salad consisting of tomatoes and onions, for instance.

One good tip for any fast weight loss diet is that you should  include snacks in between all of your meals.  This will keep you from getting too hungry throughout the day and therefore you will be less tempted to snack on that candy bar in order to fill you up.  Be good to yourself, eat all the right foods in the right amounts, avoid the bad foods completely and your fast weight loss diet is bound to be a success.

Many women  are in hot pursuit of easy weight loss solutions –  we just find it hard to accept that an easy solution just does not exist.  Many of the "short cuts" that we try to lose weight, either exposes us to great health risks, or may work temporarily, only for us to gain back twice as much weight!  I know, I've been there.  So believe me when I say that, unfortunate as it may be, easy weight loss is an impossible thing. Weight loss can only happen when we  burn more calories than are eaten over a period of time.   And that can certainly be done!

In order to attain weight loss, you need to be burning more calories than you are consuming, and so depending on how much and the type of foods that you eat, you need to incorporate an acceptable amount of physical activity. As well, it also depends primarily on your metabolism rate, as some people can burn their entire daily calorie intake simply from doing nothing at all, even just sitting down, while others cannot burn any calories even after working out for hours.

Searching for easy weight loss

One of the best ways to make for easy weight loss – or at least the easiest possible – is simply to make changes in your diet and exercise habits. It does not have to be HUGE changes at all.  Something as simple as drinking more water each day, or walking for 10 minutes each day.  How difficult can that be?  Making these kind of small changes is what eventually makes for seemingly easy weight loss, since you haven’t really done anything drastic.  All you did was make some small, easy changes in your diet and exercise habits, but you still achieved a positive result anyway.
