Hello, from the sunny Caribbean! I guess you’re here wondering if I’m worthwhile to follow on Twitter.

I am Darlyn Burkle – lawyer, solopreneur and blogger.
First let’s get the professional stuff out of the way…
I work at home now after many years of being a cog in the corporate machinery. I was born in the Caribbean, completed my primary and secondary education in the European system, received an undergraduate degree (economics) in Virginia USA and my law degree in Malibu, California. In my former life, I was a magistrate and government policy advisor – these positions sound very serious and “important” indeed!
Now on to what’s really important…
A terrible loss (my fiance succumbed to cancer in 2007) reminded me of just how precious life is. I was inspired to stay in the Caribbean, leave my office job and build an amazing life.
I am still a grieving survivor. But my pain has propelled me to work with women to help them reach their goals and live the life of their dreams.

I just love creating products and programs to help women grow personally, emotionally, mentally, and financially. The Internet is an exciting place to be right now. Not only can we reach so many with very little effort and expense. We can also support each other, no matter which corner of the globe we live in.
